"When Ally saw the doll pump her little face lit up like Christmas
morning. She absolutely loved it. We had to put it on the doll
right away and Ally talked to the doll just like “a Mommy”,
telling her it would only hurt a minute when they attached the
tubing to the doll’s “backside” and right away she pretended to
program the pump to give the doll her insulin. For the most
part, Ally is very well adjusted wearing her pump but there are
times that she does feel “singled out” because she is different
than the other kids in her class but now she can interact with
her dolls with the pump and pouch that you have made for her.
