Fabric Information
Cotton Solids: all are 100% cotton. Some of the types we use are Egyptian
cotton, Sateen and Kona Cotton. All our fabrics are high quality and produce a
strong, yet, soft final product. We pre-wash and dry these fabrics so that they
bond better with the stitching and to reduce risk of shrinkage, if you choose to
machine wash. However, we do recommend hand washing and drying flat.
Cotton Prints: all are 100% cotton. We have a wide variety of patterns to
choose from. These fabrics are also of high quality and produce a soft, strong
and beautiful final product. We pre-wash and dry these fabrics so that they
bond better with the stitching and to reduce risk of shrinkage, if you choose to
machine wash. However, we do recommend hand washing and drying flat.
Twills & Denim: Our twill and denim fabrics are either 100% cotton or 97%
cotton and 3% spandex. They are very durable and well suited for pouches
that will see a lot of activity. We pre-wash and dry these fabrics so that they
bond better with the stitching and to reduce risk of shrinkage, if you choose to
machine wash. However, we do recommend hand washing and drying flat.
Flannel: all are 100% cotton. We use the softest and strongest flannels
available. Perfect fabric for bedtime pouches to prevent any chafing while
sleeping. We pre-wash and dry these fabrics so that they bond better with the
stitching and to reduce risk of shrinkage, if you choose to machine wash.
However, we do recommend hand washing and drying flat.
Satin: the fabric we use for our bra pouches is a flannel-backed 100%
polyester satin. It produces a very comfortable pouch that feels comfortable
under clothing. We only recommend gently hand washing with a mild
detergent and drying flat.
Moleskin: all are 97% polyester and 3% spandex. These fabrics have a
wonderful soft finish and they make pouches that are as durable as they are
gorgeous. We use a woven interfacing on our Moleskin to increase the
durability and strength. We do pre-wash and dry this fabric. We do, however,
recommend hand washing with a mild detergent and drying flat.
Ultrasuede: all are 100% polyester and have a soft, luxurious surface. These
fabrics create stunning pouches that can go from the classroom to the
boardroom. We use a woven interfacing on these fabrics to increase the
durability and strength. While machine washable, we do not pre-wash and dry
this fabric. We find is sews and bonds better with the stitching when it is
unwashed. We recommend hand washing with a mild detergent and drying flat.
Spandex: our Lyra/Spandex has 4 way stretch which helps make our Leg
Cuffs fit perfectly and feel wonderful. It is 80% Nylon and 20% Lyca. We do
prewash and preshrink this fabric, but we only recommend hand washing in
cold water with a mild detergent. This will help to prolong the life of your leg
cuff.
